Whose A** is on the Line When Security Goes Bad?

Attention:

Board Chairs, Directors, and CSuite (CEO, CFO…et al).

October is Security Awareness Month

So what?? You ask. We have people for that.

Yes…  but legally it’s YOUR a** on the line when/if things go bad:

- if a 🚨 ransomware alarm sounds and shuts down your business

- if a💰 business partner logs into the company bank account with an old password and bad intentions

- if  😱  private client information hits the public web

So -

What can you do???

Zero Trust is a huge part of that answer.

Give the flip book below a quick read - I can't make it any easier to get the main ideas across - as well as the importance of Zero Trust. Then take this concept to your team for a banish-the-silos, nuts-and-bolts meeting of the minds.

Then -

Let me know in the comments:

1 - What is your panic button on Zero Trust??

2 - What is the one thing that stops you dead in your tracks when you think about running through that first checklist to see what's great 🎉 - and what's missing 😱 ??

I'm going to guess it's one of:

-🥵 I'm already so busy my head's going to explode soon.

-💵 It costs money - even if the money is just my time and the time of others in my company.

-🤷‍♀️ We aren't tech savvy - it's going to be tedious to figure out - and our fix-it solutions will be sub-par.

Agreed.

Yes - security requires time, focus, and money - and all 3 are likely in short supply.

But if you think your head feels like it will explode NOW - wait till you hit the power button on your laptop and all see the dreaded "We have your data" screen.

Who do you call? What can be done? How much will it cost? How fast can you be up and running again?

***And the big question (as if those questions weren’t big enough!):

Is my business / client data safe - or did health #'s, photos, addresses, bank account / credit card info land in the waiting hands of criminals?

So - what can you do?

Let's talk about Zero Trust.

More details? Tune in tomorrow for part 2 😀

Let’s keep the conversation going!
